I live in Kuwait. Having said that, I am having a great time. The Persian Gulf in Kuwait is not known for its crystal clear waters. The surprise is the incredible variety of life there. It boasts the 2nd-most northern coral reef in the world. This reef and it's inhabitants should NOT be there. Corals cannot live with a great variance in year round water temperature, yet the waters around Kuwait go from 35 degrees in the summer to 7 degrees in the winter. And the fish and corals survive and thrive.
We dive without drysuits from the first of April to the middle of December. I am in a perfect travel spot to easiily travel to the Red Sea or across to Micronesia. Being fairly new to this area of the world, I want to know about the good Eastern dive spots.
OnOn,
Dee
